In Canada, we are accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and recognized by all regulatory Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) across the country. The scope of our accreditation covers all electrical products, including haz loc equipment. As such our certification mark and approval label have equal recognition to those of the CSA.
In the USA, we are accredited in several states and local jurisdictions. We also have a cooperative arrangement with SGS (a US based NRTL) that enables us to secure regulatory approval for the US market in a timely and cost effective manner. In addition, our application to gain OSHA/NRTL recognition for QPS is in process.
Globally, we are recognized in the international IECEx Scheme as a Certification Body (EXCB) and a Testing Laboratory (ExTL). This enables our test reports and certificates to be accepted in many countries in Europe, Asia and worldwide.
Under the ATEX Directive, QPS has partnership agreements with a few Notified Bodies that enable QPS to do all the required testing and assessments.
